    Terms and Conditions

    1. Daily Rates Include:
    Sharing the Services of PH (Guide), hunting license, full accommodation, laundry, all meals and soft drinks, Local Beers and Wines ( in moderation). Special tastes will be catered for, if enough notice is given. Trackers, skinners and camp staff. Field preparation of trophies. Transport to and from Port Elizabeth Airport. All transport within the hunting area. One 4x4 Double Cab hunting vehicle per PH. Limited wi-fi service is available in the Lodge!

    2. Daily Rates Do Not Include:

    • Any liquor, apart from Local Beer and Wine

    • Hire of firearms at $15 per hunting day, ammunition at $2 per round

    • Telephone calls and 100% surcharge.

    • Hotel accommodation before and after safari.

    • Dipping, packing and shipment of trophies.

    • Gratuities to camp staff, trackers, skinners and PH.

    • Gate entry fees at any extra activities for example Addo Elephant National Park, Ocean drives etc.

    3. Reservations and Payment:
    A deposit of $300 is required to confirm the booking. Final payment (in cash) of the balance of the Safari on arrival. Any extra animals taken to be paid in full before departure, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

    4. Trophy fees
    (as per our Pricelist) are applicable to animals killed or wounded and lost, applicable to animals in our Package Deals as well. Trophies/Animals on the package deals and mentioned in this contract are not guaranteed. The PH (Guide) has the right and final say to make the call on wounded animals and will discuss this with the Outfitter and Client prior to calling off the search for a wounded animal! If it so happens that one of our Guides should have to put down a wounded animal, the Client is still responsible for the total Trophy Fee outstanding /payable due on this animal!

    5. Cancellations
    will be accepted if a replacement for your reservation can be booked. If not, the deposit will be forfeited. Alternative dates may be arranged if possible and deposits carried forward, however Safaris have to take place within 90 days of the original dates!

    6. INTABA SAFARIS
    reserves the right to change conditions, prices and/or terms herein with reasonable notice where / if required. (Tariff based on current prices: EXCHANGE RATE DEPENDANT).

    7. Liability:
    Whilst all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure the safety and good health of CLIENTS, no liability will be accepted by INTABA SAFARIS of injury or illness during and/or after safari. Vehicles are maintained in the highest mechanical order and we regret that we cannot be held responsible for any breakdown which may occur. It is the clients responsibility to inform the Management of INTABA SAFARIS of any pre-existing medical conditions and allergies!

    8. Taxidermist:
    whilst all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure the quality and good care of trophies, no responsibility will be accepted by INTABA SAFARIS for loss or damage to trophies, through fire or theft, and we regret that we cannot be held responsible for trophies once they have been delivered and signed over to the taxidermist for preparation or dipping and packing.

    9. CLIENTS
    are required to arrange their own personal, travel, all-risks, hunting and medical insurance. CLIENT represents and warrants to INTABA SAFARIS that his physical and mental condition is such that he or she is capable of making the Safari.

    10. OUTFITTER
    is not responsible in any way for loss or damage to luggage or any personal effects.
